During the earthquake I teleported out of here.

Let me see what's going on. We hear a shrill scream, followed by an earthquake. Morana posts something, and seems to be quite upset.

I guess someone here in Asgard has the ability to destroy things with their voice.

A great power, if it's used properly.

ETA: Some of you have misinterpreted what I've said. A couple of you act like I want to use her, when that's not the case.

Think I'll go somewhere.

Yes. It is, isn't it?

Used properly...?

Everyone is talking about it as it there isn't a girl behind it. Forcing someone to do something always goes wrong. She's shown an aversion to using it to harm others. I don't know if it's just killing, or whether it's harming in general, but I think that's besides the point. Even if it seems like it's possible to persuade her to that doing so would be a good idea, unless she reaches that conclusion herself, it will never have a good conclusion for either side.

Used properly, as in, when it's controlled.

If she's had this power for a long time she needs to learn to control it.

We can't have an earthquake everytime she gets upset.

Using something properly doesn't go hand in hand with how controlled it is. Power is for the person wielding it to decide how it is used.

Regardless, I agree with you that she should learn how to control it. She also agrees and she is going to try and do her best.

Um...it was a little more than 'got upset', Alessa.

I mean, I agree that Morana needs help learning how to...to control what she can do, but....

These were sort of special circumstances.

I can't blame her, under the circumstances.

You do realize that she ain't in any position to be used like that, right?

First, Morana has to learn control, and then she has to decide how she wants to use it. If she doesn't wanna use it to cause anybody harm, then I think that's all right.

You act like I want to use her as a weapon or something.

hnn. Fuck this.

People are just over-sensitive. Someone trying to use her is what set her off, I guess, so now people are walking on eggshells so nothing else happens.

I think that right there says everything.

Clearly, a lot of people are angry about this.

I see no reason why she couldn't use it for the betterment of Asgard if and when she learns how to harness it. However, she is in no condition to face Niflheim, and this is a great deal of time away. We were all brought here for a purpose. But I certainly wouldn't wish to prematurely risk her life, especially with so many things that could go wrong.

Please don't misunderstand. I wish for the best, that she is always safe and unharmed, but I can see your angle as well. I am torn.

People seem to believe that I want to use her as a tool, or something like that. I only mentioned that she had a formidable power that could be useful, if she could learn to control it.

Nowhere did I say she should control it now.

But, I see I've pissed off quite a few people. I think maybe I'll stay in Emptiness this week.

I hadn't gotten that sense out of your journal, so I don't quite understand why they're so quick to lash at you. I suppose it has to do with the tense atmosphere following these events. Still, it is rather unfair.

I wish you well in Emptiness. If you need to talk with someone, I am always around.

I feel the same. I may not know a lot of things, but listening, I find, suits well enough sometimes.

Be well.
